Matt Henry is a UK based photographer, after a look through his portfolio I would have sworn he was American. I particularly like his Short Stories collections, each story is made up of two images and allow you to use your imagination to create the narrative.

The chaps tell us, “There are lots of new projects and a few familiar ones but all have been dusted off and dressed up in their Sunday best ready for a lunchtime critique from the discerning creatives that trawl your pages for inspiration.”

I am always happy when people write to tell how my work inspire them, it is always very flatterer... I am myself mainly inspired by what I see, the reason why I do this blog... You know this emotion when you saw something and it give you creative inspiration... Anyway, I think this guy do not saw the difference between Inspiration and Copy... You may know the illustration I did for Backyard wine. | |||||||||||||

I, as Brandever who ask for this illustration, really consider this as copy... Espcially when this guy present it like this : "They sent a current package plan which I responded that with my ideas". And also because it is for an bootle package... it may have been different for another support, I don't know... A detail really make me think it is copy, the bird... I know you can't give comments on this site, and I do not want to introduce it because I won't have the time to read and manage it, prefer to focus on finding stuff... But if you think this is copy and not fair, please report it on his behance page or the dieline presentation... |

Letterpress is magic ;) I get my set of coasters print by Marek at letteramagica.pl. The N° is in 2 colors, red and warm grey, while the 2 others are in one color only... |

French illustrator Denis Carrier has some new work online. Denis tells us, “My work is composed of hand-made illustrations and vector illustrations. I like concentred the drawing on an simple and central idea.”

Gary Swindell has just updated the “Izm” section of his site with some personal work. Gary tells us, “[the updates] include a shoot I designed and art directed with photographer Pål Laukli of Olympic Champion Andreas Thorkildsen. The shots were part of the Tinagent exhibition in Oslo which opened at the weekend.” Great work.
